Volunteer days are a great way to learn about organic farming practices together as a community.

Monday 3-5pm Less structured workday. Highly recommended that you RSVP via email prior to assure weʻll have a volunteer project planned in the garden.

Wellness Wednesday 9-12pm More formal volunteer and learning opportunity. Starts with yoga/stretching from 8:00 to 8:45 (on temporary hold) followed by a structured volunteer garden project from 9 to noon and ending with a simple, farm-fresh potuck lunch. (Wednesday volunteer garden projects focus on our permaculture zones outside of our main garden arena).

As part of our volunteer Wednesdays, we aspire to cover an organic farming practice and share a podcast or other learning resource as part of our Waihuena Farm "Book Club".

Details for volunteer day: Please bring your own water, sun protection, closed-toe shoes, and remember that our bathroom facilities are rustic (please plan ahead accordingly). Drop-ins are always welcome and you can always come for part of the day or enjoy the whole experience. If you have time and plan to join us for a volunteer day, please email info@waihuenafarm.com and put "Volunteer Day" in the subject line.
